- In Germany under the BFSG, fines can reach up to 100 000 € for serious accessibility violations. Market surveillance is handled by the federal states (MLBF).

- In Czechia under Act No. 424/2023 Coll., fines can reach up to 10 000 000 CZK for the most serious accessibility violations, across three statutory tiers. Enforcement is handled by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI).
